3-4 Years
Hey Jess,
We were very excited as you turned 3 years. We were very excited as we saw the way you loved us. The hugs, the kisses, all of it meant a lot to us. After a very bad day, your single hug was all that was needed to make the day better.
You joined Junior KG and mummy was more excited than you. Our cutey baby was entering an important phase of her life. Mummy used to open your books a hundred times as I was very excited.
On JUNE 26TH, you had Eric carle celebration in school. You went in front and boldly narrated a beautiful story - 'Brown bear, brown bear, what do u see'. Mummy and daddy want to see you become a very bold and confident person in life. Love you kutty.

Daddy's Letter to Jessica - No. 2
Hi Jess Baby,
This letter is dated 17th Feb 2016. Daddy is in Nigeria on a short visit.
I am missing you a lot. Just yearning to hear your baby talk, see your cute smile and enjoy your antics!
You have started walking very fast these days(as I see from the videos) and your vocabulary has increased multifold since I saw you last. You are growing very fast.
I still remember the first time you started crawling (around 6 months) - you were a cute, chubby kid with very less hair and had a boyish look.
Now your hair has grown quite a bit(we had to cut it) and you have nice earrings to show you are a girl. Daddy has managed to preserve the first hair that we cut from your head. Sandeep mama cut your hair on the eve of your birthday.
Daddy's fav nicknames - Kutty Mojo, Jess kutty, Jessie, Jessie baby, Ammukutty, Kuttyma, etc
Mom's fav nicknames - Kutty Momo, Ammukutty, etc..
You were the first grandkid on Dad's side and the first after a long time in mom's side. You were the darling of everyone. Everyone had your pic as Whatsapp dp, mobile phone screensaver, etc..
One story I want to share.. I had returned from a 1 month stint in Nigeria. I came in the middle of the night. You had sleep disturbances during your first year. You were sleeping soundly next to mom. You somehow heard or smelt me. I was sleeping on the other side of mom. I cannot forget the expression on your face when you first saw me. Priceless!!!!!!
You are a BLW kid. People wonder how you manage to eat on your own. Video of you eating dosa on your own became a hit in my team in Nigeria(you were 6 months then).
Videos of you eating chicken bone, karela, biriyani, etc were super hits as well..
Kudos to your mom for her efforts on BLW!
As of today you can say words like - Staaar, 1,2..Theee, Abbi, Pappa, Appa, Mamma, Lydi, Thaatha,
(Mom to add here....)
You lift your hands to Hallelujah and clasp hands to pray. You know how to shake hands and do a hi-fi.

Our sweetest angel turns one

A year back, you entered our lives and made the biggest footprints in our lives.... We thank God for His greatest blessing on our life.

Unforgettable Train Journey
Our dear little daughter,
You were 7 months old when we made this short train journey from Katpadi to Bangalore Station.
This was an unforgettable experience for me. Irene Patti, you and I were heading back to bangalore. You slept in the baby carrier for an hour , thus allowing mom also to sleep for an hour And then slowly you started eating baked ragi cakes(on your own). Then you were getting a little restless. So I just stood up and took you for a very short walk and was standing next to our seat. It was at this time that you noticed that we were in a place full of people. You are such a people person that you get excited seeing a lot of people. You slowly started calling out to the grand mom next to you and to one more uncle. When you figured out that they were responding, you started yelling out to them,
Slowly, you started making eye contact with few more people. Each time, your volume was increasing and increasing. You then saw a small girl (aged 3), You started to draw her attention by yelling out and screaming. Mumma's ear drums were gone that day. Slowly people started gathering around our seat as it was close to the exit. You were so overwhelmed that you were calling out loudly to everyone in the train. Everyone were so amazed that a small baby like you could be so loud and be so social.
Even in Katpadi(Jency chitt's engegement), you were so social that evryone wanted to carry you. You receive a lot of love from everyone , everywhere.

Getting back to work
July 31 2015 - This was an emotional day in my life as I left behind someone very special at home and went ahead to office.
I had mixed feelings as I went back to work. As I wore the office id card for the first time after a life changing event, it felt special. As I met all my friends at work, it felt good.
But missing my cutie pie and the guilt feeling of having somebody else to take care of my baby still lingers around me. I miss being around my baby 24 hrs.
My swetest husband made it a point to be with me on this day so he could take care of Jessica.
Some things are best written down.
Jessica, I wish you ll understood that all this is for your own good.
By the way Jesus has blessed us all with a good nanny who takes very good care of you.
